In keeping with Von Zipper's irreverent and humorous attitude towards 'branding', kitsch was emphasized with various amounts of Cheetos, hotdogs, BBQ sauce, spilled beer and a red Weber BBQ grill for the Spring 06 issue. 02. The Fall catalog was about keeping the rock attitude rolling. Numerous variety of wigs, some Astro Turf and guitar cords that lead to nowhere. Athletes that VZ sponsored were featured characters. Two typographic versions of the same book align with Dewey's philosophies of education and learning. He advocated an educational structure striking a balance between delivering knowledge and taking into account the interests and experience of the student. If the reader didn't respond to the typographic layout of one version because of previous reading associations or personal surface preferences the other was an option.

Admirable nonetheless.

Prototype books on the history of experimental electronic music. Two versions of the book were developed, one functioning as the main informative source with the 2nd as a supplemental version comprising an audio CD embedded into the book cover featuring the artists covered.
